BOTOX is a purified protein produced by the Clostridium botulinum bacterium which is a muscle relaxing agent that reduces wrinkles and fine lines by temporarily relaxing the muscle. The most common area of treatment is frown lines of the forehead. It may also be used to treat forehead lines, crow's feet and smoker's lines around the mouth. This affect lasts three to four months. When administered by our experienced physician, Dr. Jorge Valencia, you can still smile, frown and look surprised without those lines between your brows!

How Botox Treatment works

During treatment, low doses of Botox cosmetic are injected directly into the muscles responsible for frown lines. By blocking the release of a chemical that causes these muscles to contract, Botox enables them to relax. It is the only product of its kind that has been approved for use in this area. Within days, you may see a marked improvement in the moderate to severe frown lines between your brows. Lines continue to improve for up to a month, and results can last for up to 4 months.
