skin resurfacing

Now you can have flawless skin. Our skin resurfacing treatments can reduce skin imperfections comfortably and affordably. Using proven technology of medical laser, we can effectively and efficiently improve the skin’s surface, tone and texture. The TriMatrixx system performs procedures to combat the visible signs of aging such as photodamge, fine lines and wrinkles, skin refreshening and sagging skin.

How Skin Resurfacing works

TriMatrixx treatments gently ablate the top 5 to 15 microns of the epidermis. The outermost layers of your skin which suffer the extremes of sun and other environmental damage are entirely ablated or removed during the procedure by the TriMatrixx 2940 nm wavelength. The skin cells within the “ablation zone” are instantly vaporized by the laser. Beneath the ablation zone, an additional 20 to 50 microns of epidermal tissue is coagulated by thermal conduction. The skin initially turns red and may darken shortly after the treatment. The skin will generally peel again several days after the treatment and be totally healed in from one (1) to two (2) weeks.

Eligibility for Skin Resurfacing Treatments

Only your physician or aesthetic professional can determine the best treatment approach for achieving your desired results.

Your doctor will be happy to discuss this treatment with you and decide whether you are a candidate for this procedure.

  • The time a client spends recovering from a procedure is called “downtime”. The amount of downtime you will experience depends on the level of peel you received (superficial, medium or deep) and your individual circumstances.

  • Many physicians advise clients to stay home for a couple days to allow their skin to start the healing process.

  • With “social” downtime, you can continue your normal daily activities but you may wish to schedule your procedure around important social events because your skin may be pink, red or darker in tone for four (4) to six (6) days after the procedure.

Instructions for the Skin Resurfacing procedure

Before Skin Resurfacing

  • Your Doctor may place you on a pretreatment program during which you will apply special creams, lotions or gels to your skin for a few weeks or longer.

  • You may also be given certain oral medications that you should begin taking prior to your treatment. Your Doctor will provide you with additional instructions.

After Skin Resurfacing

  • Your face will feel wind burned for the first 24 hours.

  • Ointment can be applied at this time to keep the skin moist, and you will need to limit sun exposure and wear sunscreen after the treatment.

  • A good moisturizer should be applied in the morning and evening every day after thetreatment until the skin peels a second time.
